Séraphine Bakery makes visiting the Catskills extra sweet. We bake cakes, macarons, croissants, tarts, cookies for weddings, events, restaurants, and parties. Séraphine baked products are available in Hudson Valley farmers’ markets, and through wholesale purchases. Baking workshops for adults and kids are also held in Kingston, NY.

Smorgasburg

Smorgasburg returns to the Hutton Brickyards in Kingston, NY for a monthly market May 2017. Situated on ten acres on the Hudson River waterfront, the weekly market features some of the Hudson Valley and upstate region’s most exciting chefs, food purveyors, and craft brewers alongside a curated selection of handmade design, vintage clothing and antiques. There are also a few of our favorite Brooklyn vendors as well activities for children and family-friendly musical fare.

Baking Workshops

Séraphine Bakery workshops are developed and led by Tess Kelly at her home in Kingston, NY. Tess has developed successful workshops at Kingston’s Senate House Museum and Van Cortlandt Manor. These workshops are designed to share knowledge and to learn how to create beautiful, delicious desserts in your own home kitchen.

 


Macaron Making Workshops

Saturday, August 5th and Sunday August 6th
12:00pm-2:30pm

 

Learn how to make delicious french macarons! In this class you will learn the tricks of the trade – from selecting ingredients, to the critical steps for preparation. You will leave with a box of macarons that you made to share with friends or family (or keep them all for yourself 🙂 ).

Tarte Making Workshop

Tarte Making Class

In this workshop you will learn how to make the perfect pâte sucrée crust, pastry cream and almond fillings.
A light breakfast and lunch will be served, as well as afternoon tea and the delicious tarts we will have made!
